FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

A few answers to help you feel more comfortable before we meet.

Do you accept insurance?

Yes. I work with many major insurance plans through Grow Therapy, including Aetna, Cigna, UnitedHealthcare, Optum, Oscar, Oxford, and more. You can check your specific benefits when booking.

Do you offer virtual sessions?

Yes. Sessions are offered through secure telehealth for clients located in Florida.

What if I have never been to therapy before?

That is completely okay. We will move at your pace, talk through what brings you in, and begin with goals that feel clear and manageable.

How often will we meet?

Many clients begin weekly or every other week. We will decide together based on your needs, goals, and availability.

How long are sessions?

Most therapy sessions are approximately 50 minutes.

Do you work with children?

My current services are focused on adults, couples, and families. If you are looking for support for a child, I can help clarify whether the fit is appropriate during inquiry.

What approaches do you use?

My approach may include CBT, DBT, Gestalt Therapy, the Gottman Method, mindfulness-based work, and trauma-informed care, depending on what best supports you.

What happens if I need to cancel?

If you need to cancel or reschedule, please do so as early as possible through the booking platform or by contacting the practice.

How do I schedule?

You can schedule online through Grow Therapy, where you can view availability, confirm insurance options, and request your first appointment.

Do you offer couples or family therapy?

Yes. I offer support for couples and families who want to improve communication, rebuild connection, and navigate challenges together.

Is what we talk about confidential?

Yes. Therapy is confidential, with limited legal and safety exceptions that we will review together at the beginning of treatment.
